
William Meurer possesses a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills from more than 35 years of business experience in audit and business advisory services, planning, and management. He has served clients in a variety of industries, including professional services, technology, financial services, real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, cable television and retail.
Mr. Meurer began his career in a “Big 5” accounting firm. He spent his first 18 years in the firm’s Denver office, where he departed as a Partner and leader of the Accounting and Audit Division. He later spent four years as the Managing Director of Practice Management and Planning/Financial Consulting Services at the firm’s world headquarters. Mr. Meurer later relocated to Tampa, where he served as Managing Partner of the Florida Audit and Business Advisory Practice and Central Florida Practice.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Tribridge, Mr. Meurer is currently on the Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee for Sykes Enterprises, Inc. In addition, he serves on the Board and is chairman of the Finance Committee for St. Joseph's/Baptist Health Care.
Mr. Meurer has held numerous positions in professional, civic and charitable organizations, including United Way, Inroads, Committee of 100, Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Bay Partnership, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, Tampa Downtown Partnership, Regis University, Jesuit High School, Avila Country Club, American Institute of CPAs, and Florida Society of CPAs. Mr. Meurer has also been recognized for several achievements, including Tampa Bay Partnership Founding Father, Frank Carr Partner Award and Bay Area Partner Award.
Personally, Mr. Meurer has been a resident of the Tampa area since 1987, where he lives with his wife of 36 years.
