Happy Birthday Tribridge!
About a week ago I went online and saw the Google logo was a birthday theme. I since discovered all those different logos are called “Doodles.” I clicked on the Google Doodle out of curiosity to find out the company was celebrating its 15th birthday. I immediately sent an email to my friends and Tribridge co-founders Mike Herdegen and Brian Deming… pretty cool that our two companies have been in business since September 1998.
Okay, so we aren’t Google. Our innovation hasn’t pioneered the global exchange of information, and our company name isn’t a household synonym for searching anything and everything. We didn’t start Tribridge while in a PhD program, and we certainly aren’t billionaires. But we do have plenty to celebrate.
It’s a good reminder that everyone measures success differently. When I think about all the great team members past and present, the customer stories, the fun times and even the big challenges that have made up the last 15 years, I wouldn’t change a thing. I would bet I’m just as proud of our collective success as Larry Page and Sergey Brin are of the Google team.
Congratulations to the Google guys for being the consummate entrepreneurs and for changing the face of technology. And congratulations to our team for doing a little bit of the same.
