To recap, Dynamics 365 for Retail helps you optimize retail operations by bringing digital, in store and back office aspects of your operations together. Retail can be licensed individually and is also included in the Unified Operations Plan for all Dynamics customers.

Retail lets you monitor sales and margin performance in real time across various levels of the organization hierarchy.
Once you create and configure your products and assortments in Retail, you can offer your products for sale in your retail channels. You can create the products, define the product properties and attributes, and assign the products to retail category hierarchies. To make the products available to your retail channels and add them to an active assortment, you must release the products to the legal entities where they are available.
Store operations and POS
MPOS is a POS app for PCs, tablets, and phones. Sales staff can create and access sales transactions and customer orders, perform clienteling activities, and perform daily operations and inventory management on mobile devices anywhere in the store, and at PC-based registers. Cloud POS is a browser-based POS that can be started in any standard browser.
Optimize your staff
Your staff is important to you. Dynamics for Retail allows you to schedule against planned revenues, and boost employee satisfaction by giving them the opportunity to swap shifts with co-workers, and check performance against revenue targets.
