I’m often asked about the differences between Public and Private Clouds. We often define Private v. Public clouds in terms of the business benefits:

  • Public Clouds deliver solutions that are built for thousands or in some cases millions of companies, so you'll need to change a bit to conform to the Public Cloud.
  • Private Clouds allow for highly integrated solutions designed for your specific company needs.

Think of it like: Fast Food = Public Cloud. Local Restaurant = Private Cloud. Both have their place.
