TAMPA, Fla. – (May 29, 2008) – The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) has chosen Tribridge, a Microsoft consulting firm with offices across the United States, to implement an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP customized for the public transit industry.
The selection of Tribridge to replace DART’s financial, administrative and maintenance systems followed an extensive and highly competitive request-for-proposal and software evaluation process in which Tribridge presented a 12- to 18-month roadmap that successfully aligned with the organization’s strategic plan to improve efficiency and productivity.
The new ERP solution will entail implementing the Microsoft Dynamics GP suite, including financial, budgeting, grants management, projects procurement, payroll/human resources and reporting systems for more than 15 concurrent users. The implementation also will incorporate the FASuite solution by MAXIMUS, a leading provider of management and operations services to all levels of government. FASuite is an asset and maintenance management software application that easily integrates with Microsoft technologies and is designed specifically for public transportation agencies.
With extensive experience in the public sector, Tribridge has delivered projects for various government agencies and non-profit organizations such as the City of Plantation, Juvenile Welfare Board, Tampa Port Authority, Hillsborough County, the University of South Florida and the North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety. Tribridge’s recent engagement with DART highlights the company’s expertise in the highly specialized area of public transit/transportation and its commitment to Microsoft as the leading partner in this sub-industry. In 2007 Tribridge won a request-for-proposal from Hillsborough Area Rapid Transportation (HART) for a significant Microsoft Dynamics GP implementation.
