Messaging for the award-winning campaign, which targeted a variety of professional services companies, included a mock Boardroom Whiteboard depicting a group of executives outlining year-over-year challenges and potential improvements to the business. As their thoughts take shape, it becomes clear that dramatic improvements to the business can be gained through a more strategic use of technology. The effort took place over the course of eight months and leveraged a number of mediums, including direct mail, email, webcasts and social media.
“This was a fun campaign. We set out to share our experience with leaders of just over a thousand select professional services organizations and explore ways our team can help them become more productive, profitable, competitive and secure,” says Bill Anderson, Tribridge Director of Marketing. “From initial outreach to scheduling and forecasting, we managed the entire campaign using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint. Surprisingly, the campaign itself became the hottest topic of conversation with respondents.”
The 2010 Microsoft Distinction in Marketing Awards recipients were selected from field nominations and the winners were chosen based on marketing objectives, plans and results deployed in Microsoft’s FY10. A total of five companies were recognized worldwide for excellence in various marketing-related categories.
